Grok Bot, cross-post everything for me and turn my videos into X articles 🤖

TL;DR - Grok Bot gives every bot its own remote VM. That means you can set a routine, close your laptop, and it keeps running. I connected it to Postiz and now every post I write on X gets cross posted to Bluesky and LinkedIn by itself, and my videos get turned into X articles (one of them got 201k views, more than the video). Full setup with the exact prompts below.
(Make sure you save this article so you can read it later or prompt it with your agent)
I run Postiz, it's an agentic social media scheduling tool. It allows you to automate posts to 30+ social media platforms. I share my MRR screenshots almost every day, and Postiz just crossed $2 million in ARR. Stripe proof link (cannot be spoofed):
I've played with a lot of agent tools this year. OpenClaw, Hermes agent, all of them. Grok Bot is the first one where I actually changed my daily workflow, so I want to show you exactly what I did.
You should read this article if you have:
- A B2B / B2C app that needs distribution
- A personal brand on X and you are tired of copy pasting to other platforms
- Videos sitting on your profile that nobody reads as text
You should not read this article if:
- You want a magic trick with zero setup
- You don't post anything yet (start posting first, then automate)
Why Grok Bot is different from every other agent
The main thing I like about Grok Bot is the VM stuff.
Every time you open a new bot, it gets a new VM. And the interesting part is that this VM is remote. It is not sitting on your computer.
So even if you close your computer totally, and you gave the bot a routine to run, it will keep running that routine again and again without you sitting in front of the screen.
This is super different from what you've seen before with Hermes agent or OpenClaw. Those work, and they connect to your Telegram and everything, but they are running locally. Your computer needs to be open. Close the laptop -> the agent is dead.
Grok Bot does both:
- Local stuff, when you need it to touch your machine
- Remote stuff, when you just want it to run forever
And when you do stuff that is remote only, you can set a routine and literally forget about it. That's the growth hack here, and it is what makes the two use cases below possible.
Use case 1: Post on X once, get it everywhere
Here is the honest truth. Even me, the guy who owns Postiz, I like sometimes to just go to X and write my post there.
I'm on the feed all day anyway. Why do I need to go every time to Postiz, open the editor and write my post to all the social media channels together? It's friction. So a lot of my X posts never made it to Bluesky or LinkedIn.
Now Grok Bot does it for me. It's already connected to the X API, so I just told it:
The prompt I used:
"Please create a routine that runs every 20 minutes. Check if I have new posts on X, not replies. And if so, schedule them to Bluesky and LinkedIn via Postiz as draft."
What happened next was pretty cool:
It created the routine, running every 20 minutes, checking for new original posts only (no replies)
It grabbed my latest X post as a baseline so the first run doesn't backfill all my old posts. This is how it knows which posts it already used
I posted "Grok is so good" on X as a test
20 minutes later I opened Postiz, scrolled to the current time, and there were two drafts sitting there, one for Bluesky and one for LinkedIn
I used draft here because I want to look before it goes out. But of course you can tell it to cross post immediately, no draft.
Think about it. Without doing anything, just by posting on X like I always do, my reach gets amplified to every other platform. That's tons of extra views for zero work.
Use case 2: Turn a video into an X article (this one got 201k views)
This is the one I care about the most.
On my profile I have a video that I spent a lot of time making. It performed pretty well, 83k views. Good video.
Then I told my agent: take this video, take my previous articles, and create a new article based on that video.
It created the article. I changed the cover picture, I added one picture inside, and that's it. I didn't touch a single word.
That article got 201k views. More than the actual video.
Why? Because it's a real long form that people can read, and X articles became searchable by LLMs too. A video is watched once. An article keeps working.
To do it with Grok Bot is super easy:
Create a new bot (I called mine "Postiz articles")
Give it the video
Prompt: "Take this video, convert it into an article, and schedule it as draft to X. Use Postiz as the scheduler."
Let it think a bit
When it finished, the article was sitting in Postiz as a draft for X. It even took my picture from the video for the cover. The post type was already set to "save as draft inside of X", so it will not publish anything by itself.
I clicked "post now" in Postiz, went to X, hit refresh, and there it was. A full article about everything I talked about in the video.
And guess what, I could just tell it to cross post the article to many other platforms, not only X. LinkedIn, Bluesky, WordPress, any channel you have connected to Postiz.
Why this matters for distribution
I wrote before about the channels I'm doubling down on to get Postiz from $2M to $3M ARR. Two of them were X articles and AEO (getting cited by ChatGPT and other LLMs).
Both of these use cases feed exactly that:
- Every video becomes an article -> more long form content that LLMs can read
- Every X post becomes a LinkedIn and Bluesky post -> more surfaces where people find you
- All of it runs on a remote VM -> it keeps going while I sleep
The people who win distribution right now are not the ones with the best single post. They are the ones who repurpose everything, everywhere, all the time. THIS IS A MUST if you want to grow in 2026.
What you should do today
Open Grok Bot and connect your X account
In one of the Grok Bot chats write:
> Install the postiz SKILL from gitroomhq/postiz-agent and let me input an API key.
Then take the API key from Postiz dashboard and paste it there
Copy my first prompt and set the 20 minute cross posting routine
Take your best performing video and use the second prompt to turn it into an X article
Once it works, don't get creative. Repeat it for every video you ever made
I hope this gives you some great ideas of the things you can do with Grok Bot. I'm going to keep playing with it, and if you want another video or article about it, just tell me in the comments.
If this was helpful, like and save this article, and write "Postiz" in the comments so I know you got to the end ❤️
