You say you're willing to do the WORK to be great...

You say you have big goals, wild dreams, yet you don't have the TENACITY to back it up...

You WANT GREATNESS, but are you willing to SACRIFICE EVERYTHING?

Did you really think this was gonna be a motivational article? 😂😂😂

If you think I'm gonna "motivate" you like one of those weird YouTube comps, David Goggins or Tim Grover, gtfoh.

You don't need another "mindset" masterclass (mines fire tho) or another book telling you to work harder and grind more 1000 times over.

You need systems.

You need to chase something that's going to give you purpose. (vision guide here)

Something that lights a FIRE inside of you.

Something that will make you jump out of bed every single day.

The hidden part of RELENTLESSNESS

"Jlowe, how can I be relentless all the time? Isn't motivation fleeting?"

Brother, relax. That's why you have me.

The hidden key to relentlessness is relentless rest.

You have it backwards - you want unrelenting energy, but you're not REFUELING your car to perform at a relentless pace.

It's that simple.

yOu woUlDn'T pUt 87 OcTanE in A FerrArI.

Sure, but let's put that into English and an SOP.

Here's the protocol (save for later for sure):

  • SLEEP: when was the last time you went to bed at 9pm for a week straight? By doing this, you wake up to no alarm, therefore lower cortisol, better recovery, and cleaner energy. You also hard reset your dopamine receptors, evoking REAL motivation
  • FUEL: if you want to be a DOG, you gotta treat your body like an athlete. The most SUCCESSFUL entrepreneurs I know eat like a professional athlete. Whole foods, quality water, high-end electrolytes, creatine (10g daily, yes, TEN), shower filters, coffee from the best sources... THEY'RE BEASTS BECAUSE THEY HAVE BEAST-LIKE INTAKES
  • LIGHT SOURCE: believe it or not, your light diet has the biggest impact on your sleep, energy, and mood. Weird, but true. Get sun in your eyes first thing, watch the sunset, and blue light blocking glasses to reduce stress and fatigue
  • COFFEE: drink 90 minutes after wake. Limit to 200mg/day, have a day off from it once a week
  • REST: brother, you can't work all the time. Have things that not only you ENJOY, but make you PRESENT and DETACHED from your goals/vision - thinking about your goals all the time WILL burn you out - you're not building Rome 24/7
  • BREATHWORK: great for mitochondrial health (BETTER energy), sleep efficiency (more effective sleep AND less time in bed), and a nervous system regulator (LESS stress and anxiety) - @coherencebreath code JLOWE
  • ENVIRONMENT: your brain senses EVERYTHING around you - your desk should have nothing on it besides what you ABSOLUTELY NEED in your work session - phone in another room
  • DOPAMINE: my dopamine reset here.

That's all for today.

Don't save this for later, implement this starting TONIGHT.

Work hard, rest MUCH harder.

Here's a great video on discipline

to your inevitable success,

Jlowe
