Let me completely change how you think about making money online. By the end of this article, you’ll understand the simple mechanism behind almost every successful online business and how you can use it to build your own $10,000 a month business through digital marketing

By the end of reading this you will be able to market any product anywhere

Most people massively overcomplicate making money. They think success requires a secret strategy, perfect timing, years of experience or a lucky break

It doesn’t. Simply put digital marketing is ultimately split into 3 parts

  • The product you sell
  • Getting people to know about the product you sell
  • Getting the people to buy the thing you sell

Put simply digital marketing is just: crafting a product that is valuable to a niche of people, package into a format (Info, Software, Physical product) or sell someone else's product for a commission

Market it on a platform where you customers are and understand what they actually want then use that in your marketing and understanding how to use the social media rules to do that and get the initial attention

Funnel the attention into a sales asset where you can actually get them to give you money

All that is holding you back from being able to do this is skills. So lets get into how to build your digital marketing skills up

Product

Building a product, Something that was once the biggest bottle neck of business has become the easiest part of it

First figure out what to sell

Humans buy things because they believe that it will satisfy a desire they have and every human has base desires. The most profitable ones are:

  • Have more money and recourses
  • Have more status and attraction to other humans
  • Live longer and be healthier (this ones deep rooted into us)

They're are mini desires inside these big desires which is where the big money is at for examples

  • More money: Freelancers making $3k/month that want to make more but are capped by time
  • Status: Women in there 50s who try to lose fat but literally can't because of menopause
  • Health: Dads who have joint pain and can't get rid of it

and you can go deeper and deeper but thats your job

Now you found your niche and desire your helping them get you need to craft your product

For example we will go with Women in there 50s who try to lose fat

I know their desire but whats stopping them? Likely there lack of knowledge of insulin and how it effects fat loss

So now whats the best way to help them with this? an info product on Whop and also lets say an app that we take payments through on Whop that helps them track there insulin levels

So now we package it up into that and we have a product

Alternatively you can skip this and just sell what other people have already made for a commission

Simple right. Now onto the actual good part

Marketing

Now we have the product we need to get people to know about the product

Get crystal clear on

  • What do they want?
  • What is stopping them?
  • What have they already tried?
  • What language do they use?

Understand your market and how sophisticated it is for example this fat product for women is probably a level 2 on sophistication scale, you don't see it much

Research is 80% of your marketing, the correct research will practically make everything else fall into place in terms of marketing

Now every piece of content you create will be around that research and helping them conquer the problem they are facing thats stopping them from getting the desire

Don't sell the features of your product, for examples my insulin product, no one cares about insulin they care about trying on dresses in the mall and feeling good about it, going to the beach and not covering them selves with a towel as soon as they get out of the water to cover their bodies

Now

Choose your vehicle your going to use to push traffic, the best ones are

  • Youtube long form
  • Instagram
  • Meta ads

Turn the message into something people want to consume, this is the same whether its paid ads or organic this is massively important

On YouTube, this means:

  • Topic: Something the audience already cares about
  • Title: A clear result, idea or curiosity gap
  • Thumbnail: Makes the idea instantly understandable
  • Video Hook: Confirms why they should keep watching
  • Content: Delivers the promise and maintains attention

The information can be amazing, but if the packaging is weak, nobody sees it. And this is the same across every platform

  • YouTube: topic, title, thumbnail and retention
  • X: hook, strong idea, simple writing and engagement
  • TikTok/Reels: immediate pattern interrupt and watch time
  • Paid ads: creative, targeting and offer

Now this is where building your skills and mastering direct response marketing skills comes in very very handy. I made a whole article around this I suggest you read

Now you have traffic coming in let's talk about....

Conversion

The conversion starts in the content, yes, but the way you capture the attention the content brings is super important

3% of people watching your content (its different on paid ad) are ready to buy from you when they see your content, so your leaving 97% of people to walk away from your content by not capturing them

The way you capture them is not by having a hard CTA like "go join my newsletter" even if they are getting value from the newsletter for example a lead magnet people, your positioning feels like "okay I gave you all this value now you have to do something for me"

Your CTA needs to feel like a natural next step in order for them to reach their desired reality

For example if I'm doing a video on fat loss, I will not just say "Link to my app where you can track your insulin levels is in the description"

Along the way in the video I will use it naturally like it is a natural step of the process

Let me give you a practical example

If I made a tweet on how I made an amazing AI video and within the tweet I'm talking about my process and I say "I made a claude skill which matches the script and scenes together then makes me my images" you'd be like "oh man I want that skill"

Its the natural next step

The best lead capture device is either email or a community on something like Whop. Where you continue to provide value, further build trust and keep them for when they are ready to buy

Someone who joined your news letter last year could buy today

but this is why Whop is so unique

You can build your product there, take payments there, market there using Whop ads or the feed, and have your lead capture asset there too

Super unique, but anyway that concludes this article, it wasn't super detailed because I wanted to really simplify stuff how Alex Hormozi does. I hope it gave you some value and you implement what was said
