how to leverage narcisism to close $10k+ deals

narcissism is simple. you don't care about someone's status. you don't care about their money. you look at what they're doing wrong, you tell them it's shit, and you propose a fix.

that's the whole mechanism. here's how it plays out on an actual call.

step 1, don't care about their status

a lot of people get on a call with someone rich and their whole energy shifts. more polite, more careful, more agreeable. that's the mistake. the second you start being impressed by who you're talking to, you've already lost.

you're on the call to talk to a person with a problem. that's it. their bank account isn't relevant to that.

step 2, diagnose their flaw on the call

find the one real thing they're doing wrong and say it directly. not softened, not wrapped in a compliment first.

"your pricing is way too low for what you're offering."

"your outbound is basically empty, that's why nobody's replying."

"you don't have a single case study on your profile, that's costing you calls right now."

say it flat. no hedging, no "just my opinion but," no "not sure if this is helpful but." you saw the problem, you're stating it.

step 3, tell them it's shit

don't dress it up. if their pricing is bad, say the pricing is bad. if their content is dead, say the content is dead. the point isn't to be mean, it's that flat honesty is rare enough that it makes people actually listen.

step 4, propose the fix

once you've said what's wrong, say what fixes it. no long explanation. no justifying yourself.

"here's what fixes it. here's what it costs. we can start this week."

that's the whole pitch. you already earned their attention with the diagnosis, you don't need three paragraphs explaining the solution.

step 5, if they say no, walk away and tell them what they're losing

if they hesitate or say no, don't chase. don't lower the price. don't start justifying again.

say one thing. "no worries. just know if you don't fix this, you're leaving [specific amount] on the table every month it stays broken."

then actually leave it. don't follow up five times. don't soften your position. let the conversation end.

why this works

they say no to salespeople constantly. saying no to someone who doesn't chase, doesn't beg, and clearly doesn't need the deal is a completely different feeling. most people who say no in this exact setup come back within a few days, because the silence after you walk away does more work than another follow up message ever could.

this is not about being a dick

the diagnosis has to be real. if their pricing actually isn't underpriced, don't say it is just to sound sharp. the entire thing collapses the second the flaw you called out isn't true. this works because you're right, not because you're rude.
